Baby got back!

This is the back of my World Cup cardigan. I'm not sure I'm gonna finish it in time. It's a good thing school holidays are finally here, because it means more knitting time, and I haven't even cast on for the other bits! It looks a bit deformed in that pic. I assure you that it doesn't seem to be in real life.
Both of the teams I was going for have been knocked out - Australia (duh) and Equador (I drew Equador in a friend's sweep). So I will have to persist in the hopes of making it to the finals ;-) The only thing/s that can stop me now are socialising and D&D (I'm not allowed to knit the red over at Peren's place because it sheds distressingly onto her cream carpet. I completely understand. It sheds distressingly at my place too. I think I'll have to wear it with all red, and claim to be Miss Scarlet.)
And then...oooh the plans...I have my Samus yarn, and I have a massive stash which I didn't quite realise was so massive until I did a winter-clean over the weekend...and I have plans...

its a shame the australian lost to the italian. everyone could see he faked that fall. no-way they deserve that goal. great kniting btw. how long have you been kniting?
Ooooo plans, sounds exciting.
I love the red. Someone told me to ice-felt a sweater by putting it in a bag and then the freezer. It doesn't felt it in the normal sense but does stop it shedding... (apparently). I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say if it works or not, but I do know that putting mohair in the freezer before you work with it makes it less fuzzy.
Keep it up with the World Cup knitting. Not hopeful for England staying in much longer, they're playing crap. I thought the Aussies did really well and it was a shame they went out the way they did.
Fabulous red! Good luck with your World Cup knitting! I was sad about Australia's loss.
BTW, Did you go to Nicole and Keith's wedding?
What a beautiful red. I look forward to see it finished.
And you are doing Samus next? I have yarn waiting for me to work on that, I really like the pattern, it's a pretty pink. What color are you going to use?
plans eh? plans......
knitted plans are the Best Plans Ever.
Personally, I'd like to see that stash. The red is going to look smashing on you.
